A Doll’s House
A classic that has almost become a cliché. A director who challenges the script. Seven actors in leotards. You have never seen the likes of this doll’s house!

Directed by Laurent Chétouane
The French director Laurent Chétouane presents a well-formed and visually surprising version of Ibsen's most famous and most performed drama. Patrick Koch’s set design leaves its distinctive mark: wooden constructions that have connotations of several objects being present simultaneously. Perhaps the most striking element is Sanna Dembowski’s costumes, which combine typical period dress with leotards in different colours. The director himself likes to compare Nora with Antigone, the (anti) heroine in Sophocles’ tragedy. Without hesitation she defies the king’s orders – even though the consequences may be fatal.
