The Ibsen Relay 2008
Which 6th form college will present the best Ibsen performance? Exciting finals at the National Theatre.
Pupils from a number of schools throughout Norway have been adopting Ibsen. Young people from Alta in the north to Vågsbygd in the south have been presenting Ibsen’s life and works on the stage.
Eleven counties signed up to take part in this round of the popular Ibsen Relay. The county finals are being held during the spring, and representatives from StøpeSkien, the National Theatre and local jury members have selected performances from each county which will initially take part in the semi-finals in Skien, on 6 September.
At the semi-finals three performances will be selected to take part in the finals which will be held on the Amfi Stage at the National Theatre on 8 September.
