A Doll's House (GB)
The ideal husband, the perfect marriage, the perfect Christmas. Until Nora realizes the truth about Torvald Helmer, the man with whom she shares her life

Directed by Terje Tveit / Dale Theatre Company
Terje Tveit and Dale Theatre Company have set their production in a British home focusing on Helmer and what Nora actually makes him. She flatters him and uses all kinds of tricks to keep him under her thumb. He becomes a successful and rich bank manager, and Nora provides the appropriate social mask as they assume the position as the most central and admired couple in their town. Nora is herself partly responsible for Helmer’s hysteria when it is disclosed that she has forged the signature on the bond.
It is the intention of Terje Tveit and the Dale Theatre Company to make Ibsen more filled with suspense and humour, and this production is a blend of phantasy and reality.
